ABRAHAM
GETMAN was born in a small town called Luboml and escaped Poland
as the only member of his family to survive the Holocaust, besides
his brother who emigrated to Palestine (now Isreal) in 1936.
Abraham immigrated to the United States and became a mechanic.
The author is now semi-retired, owning a restaurant-supply store.
Married with four grown children, including two daughters and
twin sons, and granddaughter Melissa, Mr. Getman enjoys coin
collecting, stamp collecting and acrylic painting from his Long
Island home.
